Started in February 2005 as GushueOne.com I began to create a wireless link to my sisters house on the North shore of Lake Erie (Lake) because her business needed high speed internet to survive. From these humble beginnings I created wireless links to the Lake and along the way I connected patrons. The demand grew and GushueOne became a commercial enterprise. May 2006 Stephen Fournier joined forces with me and GushueOne became G1HiSpeed. Concentrating on speed and redundancy we established a strong and loyal customer base.
I did my first wireless install in 1996, working with Computers and Communications Ltd. (MicSystems: a premier software development firm). Cutting my teeth (wirelessly so to speak) with MicSystems we implemented high speed wireless business connections for Town Councils, Fish plants, and Airlines in Newfoundland and Labrador. I then returned to University and got an IT certification from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Stephen Fournier's background is rooted right here in Essex county where he co-owned and operated Systek Automated Controls. An industrial control manufacturing facility implementing cutting edge automation for the big 3 and their tier one suppliers. Steve since then has started Fournier Industrial Controls Systems (FICS) and continues to provide cutting edge cutting edge automation for the Auto Industry and their suppliers.
Both of us being computer savvy and knowing the importance of reliable data links teamed up pushed G1HiSpeed forward encompassing more geographical area. We both researched equipment and user needs finding the right solutions. As time progressed so did the technology we sought in our equipment. This forward thinking makes G1HiSpeed the success it is today.
